MedAchieve Scholars Program

MedAchieve is a two-year after-school science enrichment program hosted by Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (TouroCOM) for high school students across New York City. The program is divided into two phases: MedStart (Year 1) and MedExcel (Year 2).

Each week, students participate in two-hour sessions led by first- and second-year medical students. The curriculum blends medical science education with hands-on learning, including anatomy lab experiences, osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) techniques, and clinical case practice.

 

Every participant is paired with a medical student mentor who provides individualized academic support and career guidance. Students who successfully complete both years with a minimum of 75% attendance are guaranteed an interview for Touro graduate programs, including TouroCOM–Harlem.
